Nick grew up in the northeast shadow of Philadelphia (go Birds!) in Doylestown, PA. As a kid, he was into anything that could move or be built - Legos, K'nex, Puzzles, RC Cars, Go Carts, you name it! After finishing school at the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Environmental Science, he moved to LA to pursue his passion for science and the environment. Nick started developing curriculum and building the Professor Egghead Program in 2010 with the help of many amazing Professors.

Mariah grew up in Wisconsin and Georgia before her family moved to LA. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.F.A. in Acting and a B.A. in Communication, she moved back to LA to pursue her love of theater, and along the way she found Professor Egghead and began teaching. She loves being a part of making science cool for kids (especially girls!) and can often be found having just as much fun in the classroom as her students.
