Nick grew up in the northeast shadow of Philadelphia (go Birds!) in Doylestown, PA. As a kid, he was into anything that could move or be built - Legos, K'nex, Puzzles, RC Cars, Go Carts, you name it! After finishing school at the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Environmental Science, he moved to LA to pursue his passion for science and the environment. Nick started developing curriculum and building the Professor Egghead Program in 2010 with the help of many amazing Professors.

Favorite Science Fact: If the sun exploded randomly (which don't worry it won't!) we wouldn't even know for 8 minutes and 20 seconds since that's how long it takes sunlight to reach Earth!

Favorite Book: Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace

Hobbies: Competitve Scrabble, Cycling, Backpacking, Hiking, Weighlifting, Chess, puzzles, surfing, and reading!

Mariah grew up in Wisconsin and Georgia before her family moved to LA. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.F.A. in Acting and a B.A. in Communication, she moved back to LA to pursue her love of theater, and along the way she found Professor Egghead and began teaching. She loves being a part of making science cool for kids (especially girls!) and can often be found having just as much fun in the classroom as her students. 
Favorite Science Fact: There are approximately 200-400 billion stars in our Milky Way Galaxy!
Favorite Book: Salt. by Nayyirah Waheed
Hobbies: Writing, seeing concerts and live theater, hiking with her dogs, and cross-country road trips! 


Professor Ian
Home Laboratory: Whitley Heights
Professor Ian started playing with legos around the same age of many of his students, and he loves to perform science and bring it to life for children of all ages. As a teacher, his hero is Mr. Rogers, and he hopes to bring even a fraction of that same curiosity, fun, and kindness to the classroom.
Favorite Hobby: Baseball, woodworking, VR gaming, and occasionally chemistry: C6H12O6 → 2 C2H5OH + 2 CO

Professor Carri
Home Laboratory: Valley Village, CA
Carri wagner was born and raised in Chicago. She has called California home for the last 20 years and loves the variety of activities that the sunshine state offers. She is an Emmy-award winner and enjoys cooking, crafting, entertaining and spending time with her 8 yr old son Chase.

Professor Kelley
Home Laboratory: Cambridge, Minnesota/Madison, Wisconsin--I consider both home.
I am an artist who happens to love science and working with kids as well. I am currently a volunteer at the Natural History Museum and training in model and replica making for diorama habitats--I have an affinity for niche jobs.
Favorite Hobby: Traveling, spending time outside, reading, art-ing (I'm a sculptor), watching nature related documentaries, taking photographs, leather-working, identifying plants and birds, and most importantly running.

Christine triple majored at Vassar College in Psychology, Drama, and French, and lived in Paris for a semester abroad. She currently tutors, serves on the alumni committee for Camp Bravo, and flies her Nerd Flag high when she plays Dungeons and Dragons on a live streaming channel on Monday nights.

Favorite Science Fact: Polar bears are nearly undetectable by infrared cameras because they are experts at conserving heat.
