ELO-P Intersession Schedule
Organizations that receive an ELO-P apportionment must operate an ELO Program for a minimum of 30 nonschooldays, which may include ESY (Expanded School Year) days provided pursuant to EC Section 56345(b)(3), for no less than 9 hours per day.
As advocates for accessible and enriching science education, we are proud to provide intersession programming for schools looking to fill this requirement during Spring Break, Winter Break, Summer, or other times of year.
Generally, Intersession days will feature various scheduling formats depending on school district and their needs.
Intersession dates during winter and spring breaks feature modular designs with multiple activity segments combining into a nine hour day, whereas a summer intersession schedule may be more formalized based on student academic support needs via summer school.
A sample schedule for intersession offerings during summer school is presented as one plausible design of such a program. This schedule is intended to be a sample, and is subject to change to meet the needs of the students, families, and specific intersession program at your district.
