SNOW DAY : It’s not a day off, but its almost as much fun! We’ll learn about polymers, cold, and ice as we make our own
fake snow to take home after experimenting with a super absorbing polymer in class.

TRAPPED IN TAR PITS:
Tar pits can be scary, but they can tell us unbelievable things about past animals and our geology. We’ll make our own tar pits with cornstarch and see how things can be preserved in different materials.

WEIRD WORMS:
Yuck – worms! They’re not real thankfully, but we’ll learn about how animals can help us on earth, and we’ll make our own polymer worms to take home in our Egghead Minilabs.

WHAT’S IN THE RAIN:
Acid rain can be devastating to plants, animals, water, and humans. We discover how acids and bases react with each other, the mysteries behind pH, and get our own test strips to take home and test liquids ourselves.
