Awesome, Enthusiastic After School Teachers Wanted!

WHAT WE DO

Love working with kids and having a blast? Professor Egghead Science Academy is an awesome after school program that makes science accessible, understandable, and fun for Kids ages 5-9. We run hands-on science classes, camps, workshops, and birthday parties for children at different locations all over Los Angeles. Most programs are ONE HOUR after school and start around 2-3 PM. We’re looking for AWESOME and ENTHUSIASTIC Professors in the Los Angeles area for our program.

This is a part time position. We are looking for instructors available on weekdays in the afternoon to teach these programs after school for an hour starting around 2-4

Required Experience

  • Have experience working with children
  • Have a reliable source of transportation.

Required Skills

  • Be FUN, have lots of ENERGY, and be POSITIVE. Improv Actors and those with outgoing personalities are perfect.
  • Be able to commit to an entire semester of classes (Approximately 3 Months)
  • You DO NOT need any background in science, just a great attitude and the ability to work well with children. We train you, and training is paid.

Compensation

Pay for programs starts at $40 per hour long class, $65 per hour long party, and $20 per hour for all general work.
